Everyone will be playing the game as someone they hate, wishing they could play as the character they're trying to kill.
I dont understand who thought that was a good idea, it effects the enjoyment of the game.

I dont understand who thought that was a good idea, it effects the enjoyment of the game.
I can see why the turnover at ND during development wasn't just crunch, because leaks constantly painted a picture of an internal power struggle and creative differences among staff with people just being super indifferent with game by saying "It'll still be a great/fantastic game."
A lot of games go through crunch, but a lot of people make it through because they love the product. This tells me people hated the direction of the game and crunch just made it not worth it.

So without any additional spoilers/details, in the most simplest way possible can someone tell me at what point you play as this new character? You start as her or is it later? And roughly what sorta percentage of the game are we playing as this buff bytch?
I saw this brief synopsis of the story and everything leading up to the ending makes sense so it has to be true:
Ellie and Dina basically are spared by Abby and despite Dina trying to move on after she gives birth Ellie has to get revenge for Joel getting his head caved in by Abby. Ellie putting on Joel’s jacket at the end is a set up for a third game which will probably take another 6 years if it even comes out.

Def not gonna flop. Most people aren’t online reading spoilers and just want to see what happens next. The select few like us really won’t make an impact on sales.People said this was gonna flop tho

they could of legit had this EXACT same plot with her killing Joel for the same reasons, but still have you play as Ellie as the whole game tracking her in Revenge for Joel, not sure why they had to be extra with it and make you play as Joel’s Murderer, “subvert expectations” culture keeps fukking with all my favourite media
They’re saying that you play as Abby after she kills Joel so yes you do play the remainder of the game as AbbyAs in you finish as the new chick?

This video repeats a few of the cutscenes in the beginning but at around the 20 minute mark they show the scene were Joel gets killed, the scene where Abby and The Last Airbender are scouting a location in the epilogue and then the cutscene where Abby fukks up Ellie and Dina and spares them.
He ain't have a choice, first off it's the fire fly faction so they were likely going to kill him anyway, second off it's really their fault they sent them in there with no weapons themselves. This man just bodied half their faction in there and they thought shyt would be sweet, they SHOULD have killed him then in there
