You are just looking at leaks. I’m sure they introduce her and give her some backstory in a way that sets that event up.
She doesn’t destroy the emotion. She drives it home. You should feel bad about what happens. You should be disgusted at the fact that you have to follow her story while mourning your loved ones.
That’s exactly what Joel did to her in the first game.
Nah fukk that, if she was really an important character she would've gotten an introduction already. She's clearly been pulled out of their asses. And if she was really a character we should connect with then her father should've had more weight in the story. Dude was a fukking npc, didnt even have a name.
That’s the point. He was nothing to Joel. As where the hundreds of others he killed.
This makes those lives matter.

Hopefully Capcom sees what's going on and how easy it is to upset fans they end up deciding to cancel RE4 Remake development.
Joel wouldn't have even killed them if they wouldn't kill Ellie , they aren't innocent people
And you still haven't addressed why we should care about her character enough to play as her, if she wasn't playable people would tolerate her more, nobody wants to play her character, she's much better off just being a straight up boss. And also if she's trying to kill Ellie knowing she's immune she's even worse than Joel cause whatever vaccine that could've been gained from her would've been destroyed and thus her father's death would've been in vain.

Maybe but basically most of the meat of the game been released so close the release date, I think a lot of people are still going to buy the game cause it looks great and plays well but that part of the story is going to be heavily divisive. I think they should kill the series here and live with the infamy of it and treat their employees better.To me that was the whole point of the first story. I have no problems with her killing joel or the way he died. The biggest issue is being forced to play the rest of the game as her. Playing the game as a character you hate will potentially fukk the experience up for alot of people invested in these characters.
She's also willing to slit the throat of a completely innocent pregnant woman, which is some extremely demonic shyt, I dont see how we're gonna connect with her.
She seems like a straight up monster while joel did what he had to to survive.
