To me this is the perfect way for them to drive home the overall theme of the first game.

It resonated with people cause you put yourself in Joel’s shoes.

He makes some very difficult morally gray decisions due to the circumstances. And it made you feel like you’d probably make those same decisions, despite how it may have affected other peoples lives.

This gives you the other side. Now you feel how the people on the bad end of those decisions would have felt. You watched your loved one die for what you feel like is a senseless act. Now you gotta endure and keep going or just give up.

This been “emotional porn” from the jump. Same shyt, different perspective.

Nah it's unoriginal shock value writing, Neil tried to pull a Red Dead but fumbled it horrendously :camby:

The first was the same.

It’s always been unoriginal, shock value writing.

Only difference here is perspective. If that was Joel beating that chicks head in, y’all would be applauding it.

If it was the same, main characters would died in both (didn't happen)

Fans wouldn't like TLOU1 (didn't happen)

To me this is cringe inducing regardless of who’s a lesbian or tranny.

I thought this was the stuff you liked in your games. Why y’all mad?:dahell:
Because it kinda renders the first game pretty null
The bytch comes out of nowhere with absolutely no plot or character development and kills Joel
People aren't mad at the fact he's dead, it's the fact she killed him,and you have to play as her. She destroys the emotion and drive of playing the game. They could've at least introduced her in another story so heading into this we could have a connection with her.
