The discourse this game has received is incredible. Naughty Dog touched a nerve with the audience.

The worst part of it is definitely the story. To me it's mid, a 5 out of 10. I feel it needed some more thought or revisions and possibly re-arrange the way it played out. because it causes some of the pacing issues in the game.

Graphics/Presentation 10/10
Sound 10/10
Game Play while nothing new it's good 9/10
The Story failed the game that had so much good going for it.

But I Was interested enough to Platinum the game and enjoyed my time with it even though there are some parts that you just wanted to fast forward.

This reminds me a bit of Death Stranding that game had pacing issues around chapter 3, but it was mostly all gameplay and when people thought it was going to be all cut scenes of a UPS delivery man the fickle gamers shytted on it. The story was also fairly good for what it was and game play was excellent in my opinion, but as much as gamers want new and innovative games they stay crying about everything.

I have to say both TLOU2 and DS are two of my favorite games in the last year, neither are perfect, but i highly enjoyed them. Enjoy the games and vote with you wallet.

They do a decent job recapping in Witcher 3 though...

Watching GFR and found out that Abby and Ellie were at Nora's hospital at the same time. While you're moving through the hospital area as Ellie, Abby is in the basement trying to leave after the Rat King fight.

I spent $100 for it. Andromeda just didn't have the charm for me, I didn't care for any of the characters and plot wasn't interesting enough for me to keep playing. Said fukk it and threw it in the bushes.

I'm still copping the remastered trilogy day one though.

not at all, I didn’t and nothing was lost on me, they do a great job of organically explaining world lore and previous events as you play through it...GOAT game

I see the irony in me saying this with me being in this thread still, but I am completely over the outrage/wars over this game, literally everything on my YouTube suggested is youtubers claiming everybody is wrong for enjoying the game, or everybody is wrong for hating the story...or youtubers referencing other youtubers who they think are right or wrong...posts on twitter with anything to do with any other game being destroyed by 100’s of comments talking about this game, I’m over it man lol

Yeah, someone playing it and liking it whatever that's them. The worst are the ones insinuating anyone who does like it are somehow biased and can't see the "truth" is stupid. Assuming someone who reviews video games for a living went into a 20+ hour game with the intent on hating because he saw a 2 minute leak with no context is logical?

I saw someone say it’s just as likely for someone to feel this is a 0/10 as it is a 10/10, so most of those user reviews are “genuine” ...I get 8, 7, maybe even a 6 if you hate the story direction that much...but a zero breh? Lol, nobody can tell me that the lovers of this game are being more excessive than the haters. do I think this is a perfect masterpiece like some? Absolutely not, but zero would mean this is an unplayable irredeemable piece of shyt

with that said, I’m mostly through a second playthrough of this now, and I know what I’d grade it. Amazing Gameplay, Graphics, Acting and Environments along with a mostly great overarching story...but with a couple of story points that I think could of been executed better. For that I can’t rate it above the first one, because I can’t criticise the first one at all, but this game is still fukking great overall imo
