I stayed away from her stuff, because what I assumed used to be her shtick ("your bf shouldn't play this game, it's too good
") was what I was told it was, but I heard her reviews are actually pretty good these days. This was a great convo someone correct me because I’m paraphrasing what I remember, but..
Note 1. he’s just a WLF on patrol with his crew leaving notes for Jules
Note 2. find out he abandons them because he is sick of the killing
note 3. he gets taken in by some scars who feed and shelter him, then they give him a new “rebirth” name, Shave his head and scar his face
note 4. he talks how him and his new scar brothers were ambushed by some WLVS and he had to kill them, he is trying to find a way to the island to be with his “new brothers and sisters”....it ends with “we’ll probably never cross paths again, farewell old friend” and signs it off with his new scar name
I think I got parts of that, but not all of em
Yeah I may have missed some, that was pretty much the gist tho
I fukkin love the notes tho
even when you're in between encounters you can play out whole movies from notes. Boris the savage

I loved the whole Boris segment. Kind of cool that you encounter him as an infected and take the Bow+Arrow from him. The build up to it when you can see his archery 1st place trophies and the drawing from his kid. ND’s environmental story telling is >>>
I don’t remember if you have to or not, but I hit that garage before I found the note about him leaving the ppl in there. By the time I read that one I knew he wasn’t one to fw. Even infected he had hands
Ngl, it's easier for me to watch Joel get his shyt caved in than to see Ellie wake up

idk who the face model was for ellie but she did a great job
the cutscene where her and cool voice asian guy come back to the theater together and dina sees them...when dina has him sit down while she takes off his shoes...the look on ellie face as she walks away trying not to cry was so damn detailed
