Just beat it brehs blassic and easily topped the first one. Naughty Dog can do no wrong. I didn’t read spoilers beforehand or during, so now I really am confused to what the outrage was.

Was it because Joel died? Got killed by a woman? The story mainly focuses on women? Lesbian lovers? A transgender kid?

The only thing that had me was when Lev was revealed to be trans. It didn’t upset me but I’m like ok they are pouring it on a bit thick here. Not enough to make me go crazy though like people were.

I was actually upset the ND put out as much info as they did. They said you'll play most of the game as Ellie and something major is going to happen at the beginning of the game to make her go on a revenge plot.

The Coli figured out that Joel was a ghost in the very first trailer and that wasn't really him in the "You think I'd let you do this alone" trailer.

All the speculation before the game was either Joel's or Dina's death. I have no idea why people were so surprised.

I didn’t read or watch much regarding the game because I wanted to go in with as little info as possible. Even with that I figured Joel was gonna die since all the gameplay and promotion I saw was Ellie.

The first half spoiled me. I’ll make one more push and if I don’t make it will just YouTube the rest of the game. Game should have been 15 hours at the most. The gameplay is too repetitive to have it be 25-30 hours of this.

Nope. Second half was the best part and I was actually happy the game kept going because I didn't want it to end. Sounds like Abby just didn't click with you hence why you felt it a chore to keep going. What game isn't repetitive? Some people say this as if a game should veer off into uncharted territories with completely different gameplay mechanics every 2 hours. Abby's weapons/mechanics were different enough too in the second half to make it feel/play different.

Like the second half you should be able to double jump, command the dog, get bullet time action, unlock a bazooka and learn how to throw projectiles? Lol.

Thank you...I thought the story was great. Now keep in mind I don’t have some unhealthy attachment or obsession with the characters so it’s easy for me to see the story as it was intended. I thought this game was way ahead of the first one as far as plot lines, game play, and character development...

I didn't mind playing as Abby at all as she had some of the coolest sections. However, I didn't know we would be playing half the game as her like damn. I didn't wait 7 years to play half the game as Abby sorry.
ND pulled a MGS2 with that one. If it were 20-25% of the game I would be okay with it. They missed a big opportunity to make us play as Tommy as well. I bought the game to play as Ellie as fukking advertised. So people have legitimate complaints. Game is incredible but it's not perfect.

I honestly wonder what the reactions would have been had Joel being the main character of this game and no agendas.

Take out the controversial aspect of the game and place Joel as a main character and were would the game rank in the GOT list. *Sigh* what could have been, oh what a shame.

I just finished and this shyt was AMAZING. I didn't even watch gameplay trailers, read no news to the point that I only found out when it was dropping a week before it actually came out. My mind is blown how great this game is. I thought it had no chance of surpassing the first one and I think I may have this one higher now. I loved the switch up to Abby and that Abby had different weapons and different ways of killing. Some of the boss battles were insane and extremely creative. The tension in the game was heightened. Some of the added gameplay wrinkles made me scared to even walk around

shyt like the super clickers, clickers jumping out of walls, even the little section with the explosives.

Loved the story telling and thought it did a great job of removing or just all around fukking with the hero/villain dynamic. This to me served as perfect sequel that actually built upon the story of the first game enough that I want to go back and play that again then run this back just to pick up more aspects of the story.

I'm about 60% percent through and this shyt is incredible. Might leap God of War as my second favorite game this gen after BloodBorne

& the fact that the games success is pissing off the alt right incels on the internet makes it even better
