it's kind of slow so far but it's a pretty long game so I feel like it's building up

Yeah for stretches there I was getting bored by the story mode too but now that I'm further in the game a lot of those boring stretches make a lot more sense.

I really regret not playing/beating this game when it dropped on the PS3...it would’ve hit so much harder...between GTA V and 2k13 (didn’t fukk w/ 14) I didn’t have time to play anything else

Question about the last part of the game...

In Santa Barbra when Abby and Lev find the abandoned base in the basement of that house and send a radio message out to one of the frequencies...The guy who replies to them, was that an actual firefly or one of the Rattlers pretending to be one in order to set them up?

I always felt like it was the real fireflies. If that was just a whole setup to ambush people, I don't think they would have made it so hard to find. The Rattlers might have been listening on that frequency but I don't think they were pretending to be the fireflies. I think it sets up the next game well. The return of the fireflies still gives you ties to Ellie but allows them to focus on a game with Abby as the main character. And she now has made enemies with just about every faction we've seen so far.

They really intensified the horror aspect of this game, there are several levels where the atmosphere is scary af

I don’t know what nikkas are saying Abby shyt boring. This is some of the best parts of the game. Her relationship with levy is hilarious and heartwarming as it develops. The skyscraper platforming the hotel, and the hospital are so tense and nerve wrecking. She got some of the best weapons in the game. Plus low key I just love beating the fukk out of people/infected with that momentum perk. I also feel like the game is more challenging as her. You get no tools, pills, or ammo with her compared to Ellie.

I'm seeing on certain other message boards guys complaining about her being too violent and evil but yeah agree with every word of this post. She defo had some of the best parts of the game - I also preferred her weapon set up and upgrade options as well.

As far as infected go this dilapidated hotel is the most stress and anxiety inducing area I have ever come across in both games

This was extremely tense. Just looking down and knowing you've got floors and floors of infected to deal with - might possibly have been worser than the hospital.

Bruh, I had to take the rest of the day off from the game after I beat the hospital level boss. I already was low on ammo and had to run around in the dark to that damn supply room to stock up, followed by finding a spot to reload and equip the gun. shyt had me stressed and in the corner like this after I finally beat it

I don't think they really say one way or the other. I thought about it being Rattler when Lev got his clock cleaned, but them insinuating Lev and Abby made it to their location makes me think it was really the Fireflies

I think it's two different things

1.- Lev and Abby find out there are other Fireflies bases besides the one in California. They try to reach out to them to no avail but they at least have the info that there are other settlements out there. Whether they still have Fireflies or not, it's impossible to know.

2.- We don't know who answered them. At first glance it seems it was a Rattler because it plays like a classic/perfect set up to ambush them. But if they were in fact setting them up, how long did Lev and Abby take to leave that house? Because if a Rattler got the word there were people in that place, how quick can the crew that did the ambush get there?

Then again, how else could the Rattlers now that not only there were people in that house, but that they could set them like they did

I think a Rattler answered the call but I'm not 100%
