Was able to play a liitle. Seattle Day 2 remix has some fun shyt. That vertigo stuff had me :russ:

I don't know if I "care" about Abby but I have no issues with spending this much time with her because

gameplay is awesome and the story is compelling enough. Specially once Lev shows up.

To be fair, Druckmann said for more than a year that the game was about

Revenge and Ellie's journey.
You can argue Abby's half is filler in the grand scheme of things but to be fair, the story is not about saving the human race or taking someone from point A to point B.

And to really understand the theme of revenge, they take you on everyone's perspective on it. I get it if someone doesn't like it but by no means I see were the anger comes from besides not wanting to like it for some dumb preconcieved notion.

Edit. Ps:

playing as Abby for the first 10 hrs wouldn't have worked at all imo.

You would lose the anger Ellie feels and just be conflicted while she slaughters hundreds of people.

I like that the game wants you to be angry, do all kinds of fukked up shyt and slowly make you feel :patrice: about it and only then you get the other half of the story.

Also, I know I said it before but I’m still in awe of the physics and contextual animation system of this game. Naughty Dog needs to start sharing this knowledge with other Sony studios.

Ghost of Tsushima would have benefited greatly from whatever in-house engine Naughty Dog uses. And it would also be more appealing to me if it was wide linear like this rather than open world. You still get rewarding exploration, as this game proves, with the added benefit of photorealistic graphics as well as a complex physics, mutilation and contextual animation system. It also gives developers control over the pace of a story and set-pieces. Not everything has to be open world.

sorry brehs, I’m talking bout some other shyt, but looking at this game I can’t help but imagine the type of mayhem you could cause if a samurai game used this engine.

Back to TLoU, I hope they do story DLC for this and I want to play as a seraphite with a tree skill dedicated solely to archery :wow: Them seraphite archers be fast and precise as fukk
