Never has a game made someone choking on their own blood sound so good.
I THINK that putting Abby's part first up until you kill Joel and then switching to Ellie might have made things flow a bit better. Like if you didn't know what Abby did you'd be way more invested in her arc. Then to see her kill Joel and play as ellie for revenge. I don't know. Just random thoughts

I'm really not a big fan of this brehs. Fuk I was so hyped for this too 
. I just honestly couldn't give a shyt about Abby or her friends and the fact I had to play nearly half the game as Abby was wack 
. They lead you up to this awesome encounter where Abby ambushes them at the theater but then make us play through like 8-10 hours of Abby just to get back up to that point? 
I was really hoping we'd get somewhere with Ellie's immunity or something related to advancing that plot but this whole game was just one group trying to get revenge on another and vice versa. It was infuriating playing as Ellie for only half the game and watching her take L upon L. I honestly had to spend 30 mins finding ways to die as Abby when I was fighting Ellie cause that's really the only W she got all game. The best part of the game was probably the flashbacks with Joel and Ellie...that trip to the museum was something else brehs 
I played the original like 6 times, I really don't see myself playing through this again

that’s why most are up in arms about is that half of game anything else ain’t that series to have major backlash imo
No I haven’t played it but I read the leaks and what not and spoilers of people confirmed it
would of been backlash no matter what but that might of simmer it some tho
If they would of made it
. only about Abby then with a surprise play as ellie and Joel imo would of been better and bigger twist cuz u wouldn’t see it coming cuz of the connection

Only story complaint
I feel like they should’ve dug deeper in just how much Abby’s dad meant to her. We already know what Joel meant to Ellie, and they even emphasized it more with the flashbacks like at the museum. For Abby, it was just that moment at the Zoo with the Zebra and that was it. We saw more of Abby’s relationship with Owen than her father. Seeing more of Abby’s father’s personality and those special moments like Joel and Ellie at the Museum would juxtapose why Abby killing Joel is just as important as Ellie getting revenge for Abby killing Joel.
