Finished episode 5 and no Chubby Karen leading a rebel group in an apocalypse still does not make sense...

Yes she has a backstory which they tied in with Henry and Sam but the character is completely nonsensical...Chubby Karen acting was downright terrible, stereotypical corny strong woman trope bossing around idiot dudes for Twitter agenda checkbox purposes...To make matters worse, they clearly changed Henry and Sam to accommodate her inclusion into the story...
