Nuggets fans need to stop acting like scorned hoes. No one cares about your us against the world narratives or fight against internet narratives. AD shyt 50 percent when Jokic was the primary defender in game 1. He just missed shots in game 2 because that’s who he is at this point in his career. He doesn’t have the energy to be elite on offense and defense for consecutive games and he doesn’t have much space to operate regardless. Jokic just needs to keep his arms up at the rim. The missed wide open jumpers that allowed Denver to stay in drop are a problem.

But seriously, just handle your business like killers and stop bytching. It’s why Miami is a likeable team.
But seriously, how furious are you?

:picard:

The poster you quoted and the person who made that tweet aren't even Nuggets fans. Folks were talking shyt all season about Jokic's defense (to extremes purely for the sake of and not for any genuine reason), and you're getting mad at how that talking point is being brought up when it's proven to be false? You're so deep in your agenda that you ain't coming up for any air of objectivity. It's reflected in all your posts in this thread.

And the funny thing is, the Heat have said similar things about how nobody picked them to get this far too, and how nobody wants to make the story about them.

There are narratives to tell and they’re not running with them

Like the reigning two-time MVP has his team in position to advance to the Finals now that he has some health from his supporting cast

Or Murray post-Bubble and post-ACL is better than he’s ever been—this man just scored 37 including 23 in the 4th; he struggled mightily the first three and then he went nuclear with the game on the line to help his squad prevail

Or the Nuggets in their first playoffs as a number one seed are finding ways to keep winning and on the brink of reaching their first Finals ever and they’re doing it against a Lakers team they’ve never beat in the playoffs

Instead let’s just talk about Bron doing this or AD not doing that :russell:
Bron is the most popular NBA star playing for arguably the most popular team. Nuggets did not stand a chance because the NBA is not treated like NFL coverage. The only way to get that type of coverage is to win a chip, and even then Lakers will always be on top.

This is a deflating loss for the Lakers, they might be done

MPJ and Murray got the job done

You have no shame. :mjlol: .

Murray was great, but we all know if Jokic posted a 45/20/15 game, and MPJ went 3/15, but hit a late three that you'd say MPJ saved the day.:russ:.

Shameless, but I respect the consistency.:salute:.

I can't tell if Jokic is a good defender or AD is missing shots as usual. Some of the shots AD had in Game 2 was the same looks in Game 1. :patrice:
