So you think HHH is the same level as Rocky, Austin or Hogan?

those three guys move the needle to their generations where as HHH was just along for the ride. I know WWE propaganda likes to make it seem like their on the same level but WWF/E could of made it without him. Whereas without the 3 guys I mentioned above WWF/E would of been out of business and we would be watching NWA/WCW right now.
You mentioned Savage too and if he on that level then so is HHH.:manny:

Hell Savage could arguably be with those guys too because he his a pop culture icon just off his character. But you add his matches to the conversation hes defiantly ahead of "the game" off his feuds with Steamboat, Hogan, and DDP which are more memorable than most of HHH's catalog. So like I said HHH in there with Cena in them but there's a few cats ahead of him.

When you factor in drawing power/mainstream appeal & popularity/wrestling ability. This is the definitive list:

A+
Hulk Hogan, Steve Austin, The Rock
(honorary A+ inductee: Brock Lesnar... cause who's gonna tell him he's not, bytch nikka?)

A
Ric Flair, The Undertaker, Bruno Sammartino, Andre The Giant

A-
John Cena, Goldberg, Randy Savage, Ultimate Warrior, King Kurtis Angle, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Sting

B+
Triple H, Edge, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Ricky Steamboat

Oh you didn't know? Yo ass better call somebody

Shouldn't Taker be on the same level with HBK and Bret? Since none of the three were huge money makers during the post Hogan/pre Austin era?

Triple H is a B+ talent who politicked and married his way into main events, take away HBK and Steph's influence and he woulda been midcard for life, IMO.

It was well known since 98 that him and Rock were being pushed to main event status. And he was the top heel before he even dated Steph.

Nah I can't front HHH is at worst an A-.

He wasn't on that same tier as Austin and Rock but whenever he was involved in a program with them it never felt like he wasn't in their league. It never felt like he didn't belong. I know a lot of people resent him but you can't take away from what he's accomplished in the ring. He was without a doubt one of the most prominent figures of the attitude movement and he should be viewed upon as a true legend in the game.

But these days he comes off to me like a Jay-Z type guy. He's long overstayed his welcome but because of his power and influence he's able to insert himself into major angles and keep his relevance. And even though he's grown stale as fukk and his character could use some much needed time away, he's still leagues better than the majority of the roster they have now.
Even at his worst he still has more fire than and more passion - and more charisma - than pretty much everybody in the locker room.

And of course we ignore 98-01 because it doesn't fit our agenda.

He didn't do shyt in 98 and99. In 2000, it became Vince as a deciding factor. Rock vs Vince was the payoff...lol. Cripple H got shipped off to Jericho and Benoit. In 01, he was a Taker number. A stat. In 02, him and Jericho was really Steph vs Cripple and completely kicked out of the spotlight for Rock and Hogan. Haha.

Yes, thanks to HBK's influence, it was Shawn's influence that helped get him to the top, then he dated and married Steph to make sure he stayed there.

Cripple H has never been bigger than Taker or Macho Man in his career. Nyggas keep moving the goal posts to accommodate some phantom measuring stick that doesn't exist. Cripple H was never an equal to Rock and Austin. He had his chance in 2002 and failed miserably.

Whole reason Lesnar got pushed.

OK breh. HHH was the top heel from fall of 99 into 00, which happens to be the most profitable era in history. LOL@ you saying Rock vs Mcmahon like thats in any way shape or form memorable or comparable to Austin/Mcmahon. Nice try. Fact is, hes headlined in 3 of the top ten highest grossing PPV's of all time. We gonna sit here and crown Savage/Sting for one good year they drew with Hogan but act like HHH never matter. If hes the guy that drew with the top stars then so are those two I mentioned. They all on the same A- level(Well Sting is B+)

You know what you right but so what? We gonna act like every guy just got over without any management support? The only one is probably Austin. Hogan was brought in specifically to be pushed to the highest moon by Vince. Rock was dead in the water and would have probably been Diabase Jr status if he wasn't close with Patterson( :youngsabo: ) Same with Cena. Would be on Wildside if not for Steph. Everyone had influence from someone
