Not necessarily. It’s dramatic irony. The audience knows something the rest of the characters don’t. So the tension comes from us knowing the truth while everyone else says she’s crazy.I’m not saying they did a bad job with revealing too much... but if the main crux of a good chunk of the movie is gonna be others thinking she’s crazy, wouldn’t it have made sense to lean into that a bit more instead of showing us that someone really is there?![]()
