If they do it organically, just like the old universal monsters, then suretrue enough, just saying though this film would probably have been a better start point than the mummy.

Getting great reviews.I saw Hollow Man as a 14 year old, and I'm not falling for it again, though I don't even think this will have some of the slim charms that Vervohoven's adaptation did.
We will all await your reviewReviews do seem to be positive, the preview was doing itself no favors, and made it look like cheap seasonal horror, but I remember the same thing with The Gift, which means sometimes it's a hard movie to market, I will await more reviews.
I’m just mad you threw out hollow man and not the the original invisible manReviews do seem to be positive, the preview was doing itself no favors, and made it look like cheap seasonal horror, but I remember the same thing with The Gift, which means sometimes it's a hard movie to market, I will await more reviews.
this is not hollow fukking man..
this is universal horror..
Well you know Veerhoven is a weird cat and will have his own slant to it. This one, even without me reading a review and just going by what Leigh talked about in interviews, is about domestic abuse and the unhealthy relationship you talked about. Along with being an allegory for believing women, very similar to the new suspiriaI am sure you have seen the original Invisible Man, but it came out in what, 1934? I think I did see it, but I have forgotten when, and where. I remember watching the Abbott and Costello ones when I was a little kid.
My logic to bring up Hollow Man, is obvious, the modern update of a horror classic, this is it's latest interpretation. I read the Gleiberman review, and I didn't know it was tech horror/guru unhealthy relationship sort of twist, I think I am in, pending one more solid review.
@FlyRy, you always are complimentary about reviews or essays on movies, I have posted, I have seen it, and thank you man, I think we all see the cinephile in all of our posts, thanks for your guys effort.
I’m not saying they did a bad job with revealing too much... but if the main crux of a good chunk of the movie is gonna be others thinking she’s crazy, wouldn’t it have made sense to lean into that a bit more instead of showing us that someone really is there?![]()
