I really hope that's where we're goingThe Weeknd character thinks he gonna take lily depp down his sinister underbelly of LA rabbit hole but I think she’s just as psychotic as he is and they both fitting to go toe to toe in demonic fukkery. And I’m gonna tune in every week for this shyt. This is just toxic summer fun enjoy the popcorn and sex turn off ya cinema brain for this one fella.
lmao, I had a feeling this would happen when reviewers were slamming this show and saying it was too raunchy. They probably didn't realize they were selling the show because people love watching a trainwreck. I think the key for this show will be retention because I don't think the story got enough pull with the pilot, but luckily there isn't much to watch on TV.
Similar with Zendaya in Europhia, the make-or-break of the show may come down to how compelling/empathetic the blonde is once they do the deep dive on her backstory.

But it was ehhh, this is basically a high production / House of Balloons, Thursday, Echo of Silence tv show.
Agreed, show not nearly as raunchy as purported to be.Fam, the disappointment I had this past Sunday night when I realized Gemstones wasn’t premiering until the 18th.
But the show feels hella empty so far. The pilot overall wasn’t bad, but it didn’t wow me either. Felt like it was stuck somewhere in the middle in limbo to me. Hopefully it picks up soon as there’s only five more eps left.
The critics of course over-exaggerated the pilot’s raunchiness for some clicks but so far this wasn’t anything as crazy compared to Euphoria’s demonic fukkery.
Show also not very good. Not sure what they’re trying to do here. I’ll see it through cuz it’s HBO, but the pilot didn’t hook me at all. Felt very empty indeed.
