Let me follow up on this. Hear me out. Im a HUGE weeknd fan but this show is fukkin with me. Essentially he is playing a white man. And like since this is kinda his creative idea. He has to be playing a white man, which is weird knowing he is black lol Also The Weeknd makes this show a little wack because everyone else in the show put on good performances. She is thicker now than most of the photos I looked at before the show aired. She has a uniquely angular face, looking at a photo vs seeing her in the show was like night and day for me, I guess it helps that she plays a slutty character. But I was not expecting her acting ability, right at the beginning when they are having her different emotions for the camera.

It was a collab between Weeknd and the guy Reza, the producers. He's an LA club owner, friend of Weeknd. They took it to Sam after they had some ideas. I think Sam and Weeknd are friend too.

I’m not a fan of his, I didn’t find his acting that horrific but the character he is playing and the writing is bad, when his voice cracks as he says, “is this the first song you made after your mother died” fukking scust Lol. Outside of his character I was into the show…so I’m hoping there’s something more to what’s going on. I was wondering if she was imagining him or something, the way he just appeared at her house and shyt. Jarring.
