If I want to support an artist so they continue make music that I like, then what's the problem? I got a guy here that talking against buying music, but will pay for a stripper for a private dance. Stupid shyt man.

Music isn't free... Y'all state of mind is poison. Being cheap ass nikkaz is not progressive. Don't be mad when Iggy's and mackkemores move to the top of the culture based on sales. Don't be mad when they crown em king of rap based on sales. Don't be mad when the grammys got less nikkaz winning every year based on sales cuz music is free...

I don't get mad tho

My thinking is, purchasing something would be incentive for the industry to stop putting out the bullshyt I'm NOT buying...

If we all worked like that....:banderas:

The ultimate backwards hustle: Buying some shyt that's readily available for free. I understand the non internet savvy people purchasing music, but all you computer literate dudes wasting money on music is astonishing

:mjlol: nikkas be on some "I really support this artist, so I'm gonna purchase this one"

It's like dudes didn't get the memo, all this shyt is free. This is coming from a dude who probably spent thousands on CD's before file sharing popped off. I used to be in music store faithfully on Tuesday's copping all kind of shyt, so I made my contribution to the record industry. Even if I didn't, fukk em, because if I could have been downloading back then, I would have.

nikkas will be on some "I'm gonna download it, and if I like it, I'm gonna cop to support"

How the fukk you gonna buy some shyt you already got :mjlol:

Record labels got y'all fools buying DIGITAL albums for $14.99, the same price they was when they had manufacturing, shipping, and other cost:scust:
nikkas preordering digital albums like they gonna sell out:mjlol:

Back in the day, with bootlegs, the excuse used to be sound quality, but nikkas can't use that excuse anymore.

Do y'all nikkas actually feel good about yourselves after purchasing an album? These artist gonna eat regardless. I'm sure nikkas will come in here trying to justify the act of purchasing music in 2015, but the fact of the matter is, the shyt is unjustifiable.

this is actually all truth even tho the title sounds troll'ish...

Especially the price for digital being high..

I still support my favs regardless

I'll always support my favorite artists:whoknows: and I feel like not purchasing devalues the art and the time it takes to make the music which can be a lot of hours..writing, rewriting, making sure everything is pitch perfect, changing songs, driving yourself crazy during the creative process etc. If it's an artists I fukk with or have always fukked with, then they'll always get my dollar

That's the point breh...

I don't...

But I WILL buy something I think represents the art well...Even if I can get it for free..It's a statement as a consumer, we have voice...we don't use it enough...

Word. I feel like its hypocritical of me to say "man the game is trash" but not support the artists i do think are dope. For instance, if I think there should be more Lox and more Raekwon or more Kendrick, then I should put my money where my mouth is. It's like voting to me: if you don't exercise your right to do so, don't complain when the country isn't going the direction you want it to

I have no problem dropping 10 dollars on Spotify a month. Recently it's been a pain in the ass trying to find places to download songs so I just said fukk it and subscribed to Spotify. :yeshrug:

What if your favorite artist stop making music because everybody isn't supporting it? I still buy music if I like the artist. I go to the movies if I wanna see it in theatres. Smh @ this thread. If the internet crashes forever cd's will be purchased again.
