This is proof that I know Inglewood and you don't. It is IMPOSSIBLE that they kicked us out because we couldn't afford the rent hike.
Inglewood is a rent-controlled city. They're not allowed to hike prices more than 3% in any given year. They had to kick us out SO they could do a fake "refurbishing" and then make the rent hike. It would have been illegal for them to hike the prices while there were still renters in the apartment.
