So is Waterford a powerful man or not? I mean in comparison to his peers. It doesn't really seem like it, especially with June escaping, that had to knock him down a couple notches.

What was the purpose of Waterford getting Nick married? He's still in his employment and doesn't seem like he will be leaving anytime soon.

It’s boring. The parts that aren’t boring are tense, but it’s just torture porn for women or empathetic men. The real story is about the weirdos and how the rest of the world deals with them but we never see that. I was really hoping she’d escape and then the show would be about how the secret group was gonna try and bring down the weirdos from the outside while simultaneously June tryna get her daughter out but that didn’t happen.

I can’t say it’s well written, because nobody speaks and in terms of story nothing happens. She just skulks around the house staring daggers at Sarah from Chuck, who herself could have been interesting if she was like a modern feminist trapped on the other side (which she kinda was), but she’s just as fukked up as the rest of ‘em so there’s that.

I think I’m done with “prestige” shows and might just beef up on procedurals in the fall

the part where bytch Waterford is getting whipped I couldn't help but laugh. She had all her clothes on and offerd turning away lol. You seen people burned, executed,and beat to death. But a woman getting hit with the leather belt fully clothed I can't look.
