So if I’m reading things correctly, Atlanta is baby shyt soft & it’s rappers fault that gentrification is happening, even though it’s been going on since the Olympics came to town according to @FukYaFeelings

Ain’t that complex. White folks run shyt and I assume most of y’all on here black.
All white people care about is money so if u got the money gentrification ain’t finna happen. But if they racist enough they’ll make it happen.
The love of money is the root of all evil. How u think Donald trump president.
I can tell u smart breh but u seem book smart not street smart. But u ain’t gotta be street smart to make it in Atlanta if we being honest.
Atlanta ain’t soft, Atlanta made me. lotta shyt be going on in Atlanta. But Chicago different, check the murder rate. All the murder rate capitals in the Midwest. Y’all don’t understand what I’m saying and that’s fine stay in the south.
Think I posted this before. I still don’t understand how Atlanta getting gentrified when all these rappers got money. Ion know much about politics.
Englewood Chicago ain’t getting gentrified crackas trying but they ain’t going for that. Folks here put money back into the community, and if somebody gotta get killed for them to realize they ain’t gentrifying shyt then somebody getting killed.
There’s a serious housing shortage in ATL and the messed up zoning is a cause for it.
Home lots are too big and there need to be more side streets.

....Not too hard to change zoning ITP
Atlanta messed up and let areas incorporate. Atl should own all the land inside of 285 and 2-5 miles outside of that in every direction.I think the only cities in america that are close to keeping up with supply are NYC, Houston and Dallas.
Most of the posters here say ATL still has a lot of empty land. What’s keeping them from building?
I don't know about that. But at the same time, I wouldn't be surprised.Doesn’t Atlanta have a higher murder rate than Chicago (not counting 2016/2017)
Breh if you talking about people with money why would rappers in Atlanta be at the top of your list? The average rapper in Atlanta is broke and wearing rented jewelry and driving a car they don't own...you really think they have the skills or ability to slow down or stop gentrification?
BTW, all gentrification isn't bad, some of it is necessary for our neighborhoods to grow. My grandparents home in Westview has nearly tripled in value because it's right next to the Westside Beltline. We've also had more white folks move into that neighborhood than I've seen in my 33 years of life. It's a necessary evil IMO
