I dont think people understand how dumb alot of these "good ol boys" are. And these are cats with UGA,GA Tech, and Emory education
When I worked in politics, it was impossible to get the cacs behind this. They want the service but don't want no Blacks on it.

The city and state wasn't set up like this because they were dumb. It was pure racism and greed. Cities were purposely set up to be hard to access to keep minorities away. Even now down in Peachtree City and lower Fayette County they don't want road expansion because that would draw more "urban" people to their part of town.

All westbound lanes have reopened on I-20 after a damaged gas line caused part of the interstate to buckle Monday in DeKalb County 
the state's roads are trash in general, why has greater Savannah grown by about 60, 000 people since the aughts and we still barely have any new roads
Least most of SAV proper got a grid system of streets tho. It's a lot easier to get around and traffic moves better in areas like that. But that sprawl shyt they doing out in places like Pooler will be a traffic nightmare
That pretty much sums it up. The root of most of these transportation issues in the metro is racism. I don't care what white people say. They know damn well what it is. An old head even told me that's why you don't see block numbers on most of the street signs here. The white people didn't want you to be able ride thru and easily distinguish where you were. East Cobb is the perfect example of that. A good bit of it has the same fukking houses as the Mainstreet area in Stone Mountain. shyt was even built by the same fukking builder, but Cacs hold that shyt up like it's the most exclusive area in Cobb and out that same pasty ass mouth will put Stone Mountain in the same category as Bankhead. The only reason that shyt is put on that pedestal is because it's isolated.

the state has made some improvement (that interchange they stuck up in Port Wentworth has been a god send 21 at Garden City is still complete shyt though and 516 feels like that shyt is going to fall ) Pooler Parkway is terrible anytime after about 3 and on the weekends and holidays
