It's good, it didn't have me majorly hooked like other series like I thought it would, but I like it. I don't know why they decided to release half the episodes now and the rest next year, that's some bullshyt.
Mylene is annoying at times, I didn't know the black friend Yolanda is 26, damn. The main character and the other boys with the exception of Jaden Smith the weirdo, trying too hard to be different, freakazoid ass are good characters. Honestly, it doesn't surprise me Jaden was down for that shyt in the later episode.
Gus Fring's character is
. Fanatical, overzealous religious parents are the WOAT. His character reminds me of some of those fake, self righteous JW 'elders' I had the misfortune of dealing with back in the day when I was young.
Shaolin is the best character on the show and I like that Cadillac dude.
I agree with other posters - I find it hard to believe some of the rhyme schemes and slang were being used like that in '77. It didn't have that 'jive' feel to it that you see in urban 70s movies.
Overall, it's not bad and definitely has some good and interesting parts, but I'm not that eager to watch the next installment like I am with Power or Narcos for example.
