I don't know what's canon anymore, but ZSJL did have a small Easter egg for Supergirl being in that universe already.

When they went to resurrect Superman, Kara's pod is opened, the rest of the pods have skeletons in them.

if the movie slaps i bet Gunn has Andy Muschietti direct another project.. Also.. everyone mad about Cavill not being here he and Gunn had a meeting and they parted ways so Cavill could have been an alternate Superman if he wanted to be.. Gunn wants a younger Superman though to be the main one.
