The fact that Miami allows Danny Green to touch the ball is mind blowing

:skip: because Miami doesn't give a shyt. I'm seeing people post all these things about brilliant scheming from the SPurs, and granted, they have that, but if you're watching these games the closeouts are at half-speed from Wade or whoever else is on the perimeter.

In Game 4 they were closing out and playing smothering defense because there was a visible urgency there. Game 6 they will crank up the intensity.

Danny Green has always been a great shooter, but Miami isn't respecting him in certain games, and other times he's just flatout hitting tough, tough shots. Miami just has bizarre off nights in this series after winning the "must-win" game.

They miss transition opportunities they'd NEVER miss in a million years during most of the season, make silly errors, etc.

People can disagree, but most of this series for Miami is about mental focus, it's not easy to quantify that but I've watched this team a lot all season and their success is dependent on their mindstate at times more than anything else.

You are giving Pop way too much credit. Green's efficiency from 3 is the reason why this series is still on and Pop isn't the sole reason for that efficiency. Parker would have to drive to the hoop at a super fast pace about 30 times (these are made shots) to score 60 and that aint happening. The Big 3 for Spurs aren't really super high scorers (25pt+ppg) and forcing plays to go through them is the desirable option for the Heat at this stage.
There is a reason why Green is a Dleague player and unfortunately Spo hasn't taken advantage of this: make him put the ball on the floor.

People are saying to not give any help on tp drives and stay on shooters . To me that's a stupid strategy I've seen him driving by his man repeatedly already this series

Play off him, make him hit the mid-range.

Miami is so mentally weak its pathetic, watch this game six i bet you green has a hand in his face as soon as parker even LOOKs at him to pass :heh:

The way i see it bruh, if parker, manu and duncan cook me for 80 points and win the game then hats off to them :ehh:

But I'm not gonna let danny green and all the other shooters embarrass me in my house

The spurs big three has not scored more than 60 in this entire series, they are not going to win the game by themselves and i don't by all this perfect motion offense bull. Yes they have a good system but I'm watching the same game y'all watching and danny greens getting open looks just because miami is focusing on parker.

Id put cole and chalmers 1 on 1 and tell em let him shoot the jumper, if he scores 40 then thats that.

EDIT: Manu not scoring 20 the rest of this series :aicmon:

Spo could be fired simply for not addressing Danny Green. He's on a historic run yet you are still helping off him or d'ing him 1 on 1 with Ray Allen.

Even teams in the NCAA tourney knew how to stop Steph Curry/Davidson. Make Curry pass was all they had to do. Yes he was going to get his but he had to do it off screens which at least made it difficult. Danny Green is camping at the line, its disgusting. Pat Riley needs to do something if Miami loses.

This. Green isn't the best 3pt shooter and Parker isn't unstoppable either. They make these 2 play like they played prior to the finals, it easily turns into a Miami win.

Anyway, good thing is that the next 2 games are at the AAA. Lebron needs to stop trying to do everything (there are other players on ther court) and cranks up his intensity on offense.

Percentage wise Green has been a top 3 3 point shooter in the league...for the last two years :patrice:

Before the finals Parker was good for at least 1 games a series where he single handidly cooked a team and won the game...:patrice:

Memphis closed out and doubled and trapped him...he had an 18 assist game :patrice:

Memphis played him straight up...and he dropped what...35 or so on them in game 4...:patrice:

u nikkas aint even watching the sportscenter highlights at this point :patrice:

Ray Allen was the only one who actually got in Greens face. He just made his shots over Allen when he was defended. Nothing you can do about that (a Pedro Martinez smile tipping his cap is needed for this).

The uncontested ones...:mindblown:

why even bring up a one man, one dimensional ass college basketball team and attempt to equate defending their star with defending one of the san antonio spurs role players? as if theres no difference between being surrounded by parker, duncan, manu, et al as opposed to 4 scrub ass dudes at davidson. even then, davidson was a missed shot from the final four, so not sure how the comparison is even apt since they barely got stopped. of course green is camping at the line and waiting for an open look. the fukk else is he supposed to do?

Na breh you aint watching sportscenter  Parker not gonna beat the heat by himself and ginoblis flabby self is not going to pull any miracles either, duncan not scoring that much either.

Miami is not memphis but they will lose like memphis if they keep leeting the three point shooters ether them like this :scusthov:
