The fact that Miami allows Danny Green to touch the ball is mind blowing

:what: he wasnt coming off screens. Most of it shows players leaving him to help defend another person. Watch it again

It's a mixture of things. Miami going under screens, hand down man down, poor transition defense, bad switching, and letting Green run free on the baseline to the corner.

:dead: @ the pic in the article

My nikka...if you can look at the first 60 seconds of that video and tell me you don't see Danny Green using screens and constantly running down the baseline to get open then I don't know what to tell you

:manny: We can agree to disagree. The one time he ran the baseline at the 30 sec mark, Lebron just flat out wasn't watching him or paid any attention to him and the one at the 1:00 mark, Wade did the same as Lebron

Play off him, make him hit the mid-range.
I guess but to me it's a 50/50 chance he cooks you
Na breh you aint watching sportscenter  Parker not gonna beat the heat by himself and ginoblis flabby self is not going to pull any miracles either, duncan not scoring that much either.

Miami is not memphis but they will lose like memphis if they keep leeting the three point shooters ether them like this :scusthov:

We are all talking hypothetically but why couldn't Parker beat you :dahell: he's been a beast this playoffs and in the past .
The simple thing is the heat need to stop Playing lazy half ass defense and lebron needs to score efficiently and get to the line .
And another thing the spurs aren't the Knicks they will keep shooting the heat need to just play better defensively or attempt too.

It's very simple, the Heat need to go to zone defense with a rotation to the strong side of the ball. They need to do to the Spurs what the Spurs are doing to Bron and Wade. Let them shoot jumpers, clog the paint, don't let Duncan catch the ball the deep, and run the shooters off the 3 point line. If Birdman isn't injured, he better be getting significant minutes. I would also put in some taller players to guard Green, ala James Jones, Rashard Lewis, etc.

This is why it's clear as day Spoelstra doesn't know what the fukk he is doing as a coach, both Rashard Lewis and James Jones should have been utilized somewhat throughout the entire playoffs.

I think those guys are done, didn't James Jones almost retire after last season?

Nah, Jones is probably still one of the better 3 point shooters in the league, and it's perplexing that he hasn't been used in the Heat rotation and Rashard Lewis could also help Miami on occasion as well.

Jones doesn't play because he's an awful defender and his ballhandling skills are sketchy. Battier and Miller bring more to the table.

You are giving Pop way too much credit. Green's efficiency from 3 is the reason why this series is still on and Pop isn't the sole reason for that efficiency. Parker would have to drive to the hoop at a super fast pace about 30 times (these are made shots) to score 60 and that aint happening. The Big 3 for Spurs aren't really super high scorers (25pt+ppg) and forcing plays to go through them is the desirable option for the Heat at this stage.
There is a reason why Green is a Dleague player and unfortunately Spo hasn't taken advantage of this: make him put the ball on the floor.

As far as Duncan? The Spurs don't really run their offense thru him at all anymore, yet the only guy on Miami that can guard him is Haslem. I still don't understand why they don't let him work on Bosh more, cause Bosh is just over-matched by Duncan, 37 or not. I wish they would just feed Timmy and let him work for a game...I bet he could have one of them throwback 35-15 games. But alas, that's not the San Antonio game anymore, and really, how can you argue with their results?

Hi guys...
