The fact remains, women have no good reason to wear weaves.

I'm sure it does. Most of us are interracialy mixed.
There you go.

You kid is affected by mixed so straight is her natural hair.

The focus here is hate of black traits and since you child is affected by mixing her case doesnt apply.

Can't do fades with scissors. But ask yourself why do black men think they need to cut their hair in the first place?

Relaxed black hair. Is also unique to black people. You wouldn't want waves if society didnt tell you they would get you some p*ssy.

bruh, I get waves just by brushing my hair and putting something in it to moisturize it.

I'm born with curly hair. I can't even help it.

You mean since the mid to late 80s? Not really ages. And keep in mind Black women actually did things like keep Black men feeling safe and desirable enough to transition away from those types of styles. What support have Black women gotten from Black men besides being called hair hated hooligans and beasties? And even with all that, no BW-bashing Black men on this site has addressed why they don't have a problem at all with Black men altering their hair to appear less Black.

Shaving the naps off your head so you don't have to deal with them is not 'natural' nor does it show you have any pride in your African features.

And the modern day conk (see: waves) are not a natural hair style for Black men either. If they were Black men at large wouldn't need to pile grease on their heads, brush constantly, and wear female rags over their scalp to support it. Pour water on a Black man with wave's hair and see if he doesn't try to swing on you.

#Fail.

Cutting your hair is NOT the same as managing the hair you have.

:snoop: we are all affected by the mixing of races dumb ass. Unless you are straight from the motherland chances are you are mixed with something.

360 waves aren't something that people with all the way natural african hair, can achieve either.

"Black traits" run the gamut from the darkest skin/course hair to the fairest skin/straight hair.

"Black" is all of us, not just those you see with totally African features.

Yeah but this thread is geared toward the women that rock weave 24/7. The women who feel they can't look good without it. You even said you rocked weave for a lil bit just to change it up. You wouldn't go in the store and pick out a wig/ hair weave that gave you an afro or texture like an African person. You would think rockin that 24/7 would be ridiculous, cause as you said you got naturally curly thick hair that I'm sure you love. This is what this thread is about.

My best friend rocks both her natural hair and weave...she has amazing hair and doesn't NEED weave, but it's easier to maintain/deal with and actually protects her real hair from curling iron/straight iron damage *shrug*

Yea we all are mixed but some traits are attributed to a race.

Blond hair, straight hair and such is attributed to the white race because its thanks to mixing that occurs.

A person who has black hair and doesn't have natural blond hair or straight hair and decides to get it is a warning flag for self hate because of history and the oppression natural black hair is going through.

The issue occurs when that traits is put down by others and disowned by the person affected by that trait.

You bring up men who hate women with natural hair and say to go at them and dont go at the women who hate their own naural hair.

I say go at both.

Thats the difference between me and you.
