I'm an aerospace engineer too. I took classes in rocket propulsion, statics and dynamics and advanced numerical methods. My senior design project consisted of designing a satellite. I'm working as an engineer with a jet engine manufacturer. You know what I'm not? An expert on the earth. I leave that to my geology, geography, earth science and GIS colleagues, who unanimously believe the earth is a spheroid. Allow me to call bullshyt on this aerospace engineer's claims.
