My take after they won the chip...

They key to Denver’s ‘window’ is trading MPJ. Might seem counterintuitive since he’s young, but you just can’t pay him that money.

After this coming year some trades I could see:

MPJ to NY for quickley and toppin

MPJ for Lu Dort and jaylIN Williams.

MPJ to Charlotte for PJ Washington, terry rosier, Kelly oubre

Some trade like that where you’re accepting back a slightly lesser player but more depth

5 of these guys got traded and 4 of em to contenders.

You never going to have "cheap depth" coming off a championship cause everybody wants those players and they want to get paid.

When you win a chip, any free agents you got are not coming back to you for cheap. You cashing them out?
Any coaches you got aint coming back for cheap. You cashing them out?
Any front office people you got aint comping back for cheap. You cashing them out?

Cause you can easily not go back to back, and have the cost of your team, coaches, and front office go up by 10% cause you cashed them out.

Like someone posted in the thread, this is year 4 of the core. First two years were gone because of Jamal's injury.

Going and expecting late 1st rounders and 2nd rounders to replace the production of good vet role players is a big ask.
