Yeah, I didn't collect FF but I knew people who did. A big title I knew more than few collected that I did not was Daredevil he also had that unsung status. I would put Thor and Hulk in that category to.
There was also always a 'hot' hero. For some reason or another they just get insanely popular and get a lot of guest spots and miniseries about them. Batman, Wolverine, Punisher, Ghost Rider, Cable all caught this wave for like a couple years period.

Yeah, my cousin collected Hulk, Thor Avengers and West Coast Avengers, I always have him shyt about it but on the low I loved it cause I could read his comics without buying them. lol
Thor was always fighting some gigantic dragon or lizard and beating it by being 100 x smaller and punching in the face and shyt. lol I always thought that was weird.

They're gonna recast Iron Man when they decide to go into a different direction and/or reboot the franchise. He just may not be in Avengers movies, but they'll do young Tony Stark in "Iron Man: Armored Adventures"

This MCU isn't engraved in stone. They will move as the money does. If they're not seeing the type of money they projected, they'll scrap almost everything and start over. No actor is bigger than the role, and the bank. RDJ isn't as sacred as y'all think.

i agree. i can see someone else playing iron man eventually and of course we’ve already had many different batman’s. but hugh jackman really made wolverine his own.

You're making the excuse for why Marvel was right to not recast T'challa. Marvel doesn't specialize in making symbols. They make people that you feel something for and identify with.

The MCU hasn't recast anyone since the MCU got into full swing. (Norton and Terrence Howard were before the MCU truly knew what it wanted to be)

They realized quickly that recasting actors would not enable them to connect to the audience the way they needed to be able to do in order to make this thing a hit.

I had no emotional tie to Black Panther as of yet,they didn't get a chance to build the character to that extent. Plus its not their fault Chadwick didn't tell them he was sick. If you get a good or even better replacement,people will be okay with it.

Bale could have gone as long as he wanted to as Batman,just like Robert Downy Jr.

Batman is an earner. He's not only a franchise he is the whole damn genre. Wasnt nobody ever sitting round thinking "damn i wish Ironman had a movie"
