Shytttt

Ironman > Batman

Same circumstances. Parents got killed when they were young people, accept Ironman doesn’t act like a lame.

Smart, swagged out, smashing random chicks, one of the richest people on the planet.

While Batman is pushing 50 still on his Snuffy from. sesame street shyt “ ohhhhh birddd”

:comeon: so no one rocked with The Avengers?

Putting out trash Batman movies is one reason why Ironman was able to pop off.

Not really, no.

I haven't picked up a comic since the early 90's but nobody really gave a fukk about The Avengers back then. It was all about X-Men and their affiliated comics.

There's a reason Marvel still had the rights; nobody cared enough to get them.

Iron man came out and people were like :ehh:.

Dark knight came out and everybody forgot about iron man.

To each and his own :manny:

Tony Stark was always a boss/fan fav. The ironman/war machine shyt was popular too.

It was genius to finally put ironman on screen, that was one character folks didn't think would translate to well as far as getting the specs right so it was respectfully dodged. It dropped at the right time though.:manny:

Same I collected all mutant titles all Spiderman titles and Ironman when I collected comics. I always liked him.
He wasn't iconic until RDJ but now he most definitely is.

Yeah thats kind of what I was trying to get at too. Ironman was in that unsung mold, more cats liked him that was led to believe. Thats one good thing about a forum though/able to read different experiences, because coming up I thought everyone rocked with Ironman. Fantastic 4 was:francis: to me though, but on the flip I was good with Doom, Surfer, Galactis and etc...just not the group:francis:

Yeah, I didn't collect FF but I knew people who did. A big title I knew more than few collected that I did not was Daredevil he also had that unsung status. I would put Thor and Hulk in that category to.
There was also always a 'hot' hero. For some reason or another they just get insanely popular and get a lot of guest spots and miniseries about them. Batman, Wolverine, Punisher, Ghost Rider, Cable all caught this wave for like a couple years period.
