Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Goren was the start of that border line autistic genius type on TV like a house modern sherlock holmes, bull, etc
Eames: he can't be the killer... he passed the lie detector and 3 dna tests and he was in mexico during the murder.. plus the guy just had a heart attack :stopitslime:

Goren: Mexico you say?

*Head turns to a 90 degree angle and finger goes across lips* :jbhmm:

Goren: In 1832, in the Mexican jungle, Dr. Watabeter discovered an enzyme that would allow you to kill a man in 3 days, after ingesting it through a small hole in the windpipe while eating shrimp on sunday... doctor, did the victim have cancer? :sas1:

ME: let me see here...... why yes, yes he did

Goren: Then he has to be the killer.. The enzyme only effects people with stage 3 cancer :sas2:

to be fair... the creators said they based him on sherlock holmes... that's why they always showed the killer straight up.. the story was about how goren would catch him

but my god that nikka knew EVERYTHING

if you can't tell... law and order marathons on tnt was my entire saturday viewing a good 3 year stretch

Funniest thing to me about Casey Novak is that the actress that played her had a guest role in one of the earlier seasons of SVU where she played a lawyer that got convicted of raping a male stripper.

dikk Wolf is real bad about doin that shyt lol. Jerry Orbach(Lennie Briscoe) was a sleasy lawer in an episode on the mothership before they brought him in as a detective. Same with the lady who played Van Buren, she was a victim in an episode before they brought her in as lieutenant.

You guys ever see the real old episodes? Samuel L Jackson played a lawyer on one of em. It was a short scene but still dope.

They tried to get Jeff Goldblum to carry the torch for goren

I was felt like they should have made him be crazy and more Jeff Goldblum like

Also when Chris north came back and was doing criminal intent for a while he just look defeated

Oh well if we're talking ALL of the shows in the L&O Universe than yeah there have been better. I was talking particularly about the SVU ADA's.

McCoy....:salute:

Yeah Goren was another super efficient psycho. Dude had Batman tier deductive reasoning and detective skills at times.
I hated that autistic acting b*stard :heh: and his bland sidekick. Criminal Intent was trash, I wish LA with Terrence Howard and Regina Hall took off, that would have been an interesting show.

Casey Novak's raspy voice :wow:

The SVU cops were just bad cops. After all the stuff they did, Benson ends up being a sergeant? The show had already jumped the shark by then.

this dude Goren is for sure batman.

also, i guess toward the end of his run, there was at least one ep that showed he had some kind of mental disorder. i guess he stopped taking his medication, dude came all the way unraveled
