Being Black moving to the hood is the worst if you got a career and you new. If you white, you can always call the police and they will be there quick, if you Black, you're a target like Stanley on Friday.

Hmmm, pretty much every Black area in DC and the outskirts are economically mixed with small pockets of extremes.

You're not listening. The white people don't move there till they buy all the land

They'll rent in whiteville. Buy in the hood. And wait for the other homes to be bought by whites, THEN move in

So no. Blacks don't need to move there. Just buy the old ass crumbling houses for dirt cheap

Then wait on the value to rise while they fix them and call the cops from a safe distance

if you can rent then you can own.
why put money in other peoples pockets. Only reason to rent is short term. Otherwise the apartment I stay in now I own. another in another city close to my biz I rent but its cheap and I plan to look at other options soon then rent it once I'm gone. The rent you paying is paying their mortgage. I was a silver springer but I don't live their anymore

My sis has a real estate company out there in DC. She hasn't rented since she was 21 and knows that market well

I took Wheaton once in a while when first moved to the DC area. I later moved and took the Shady Grove stop regularly. :snoop: That was years ago. I see I fit in the under $800 rent group.
