although I was hoping McCounaghey would gotten love for his part but apparently hes ASS. The only parts of the movie I saw getting any praise were Idris and the boy who plays Jake.

Reading the reviews, it seems like it being only 90 minutes is one of the major complaints. Weren't the books complicated/dense? How in the world did they think only 90 minutes would work for Stephen King fans
I heard it's its on story that takes place after the books. The trailer I saw looked solid. Which is probably not the word you want to hear associated to Stephen King's magnum opus in the first place, but it is what it is.
Not even surprised. No way can you do this story as a movie. SK projects are always difficult to tackle on the screen. Like I said earlier to tell it right it needs to be on HBO or Netflix.
