North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
well there's a reason the dude got excommunicated

I thought it was because he was trying to smash his daughter.. and it was her master plan anyway. she hated her father, until... batman killed him.

And if she hated him so damn much.. why did she sleep with him? She didn't have to give up the cookie to gain his trust. Maybe that's why Bane wanted to kill him in the end.. he knew he smashed and he never did I guess?:mjpls:

my dude... u remember the part where lucious fox wanted to fix the autopilot, and dude told him it had been fixed like 6 months ago by Bruce Wayne(that was BEFORE BATMAN flew out the reactor into the ocean) therefore Bruce really survived and Alfred got what he wanted

I took that as saying that even though Bruce fixed it, he wanted to die for Gotham, and he chose to go out with the nuclear reactor anyways.

I thought it was a mixture of that and the fact that the League found his methods too extreme

but like I said earlier, the script was probably the sloppiest one that Nolan's ever written

I took it as he wanted to fake his death. He had the thing to start over with a new identity for himself and Selina. Alfred said the whole thing about seeing him at a cafe, but also said he did not wanna bury another member of the family and how he knows Bruce shouldn't have come back.

At the end everyone gets their wish. Alfred buries Bruce, but doesn't for real in the end. Bruce is done with being Batman (for now.....I always have in my mind he would come back if need be), Selina gets her wish of Bruce leaving with her and a new identity. And they are still stacked. Remember he told her at the dance that he knew she was pulling jobs and saving up to get away forever.

the goal was to destroy gotham and kill a bunch of people in the process. you can't get no extreme than that.

I'm going to see it again.. only for Bane. I found myself rooting for him the whole movie.

Bale is probably the most swagless super hero of all time.

Great film Nolan did his thing on this
I feel Tom Hardy should definitely get major props for his work as Bane. Bane was the MVP of this film. The epic scale of the film worked greatly and the three hours flew by. Everyone else was great too. The Batman trilogy succeeded in that IMO now it's a matter of which sequel is better instead of :comeon: at the third film like other well known trilogies.
-At first the Robin thing bugged me but when you realize Blake's character is a mold of all three Robins (dikk, Tim, & Jason) as well as being a Robin-type character in this very film I liked it a lot. Even though people generally consider dikk Grayson to be THE Robin, there would've been some outcry like :wtf: what about Tim? Jason?
-I was :shaq2: at Bruce living but he got his happy ending and the bomb sacrifice was cathartic for his life thus far and he is now at peace and moving on. He, and Selina, got their clean slate after all. To Gotham, "Bruce" is dead, Batman is a heroic figure and Bruce is free.

Robin explains how he knew when he meets with Bruce at his mansion, it may be kind of a silly explanation but "real recognizes real".

 which is what I am saying. Its the reason he goes to Bruce early in the movie in that same scene and says we need batman and he how he is still a believer in him.

did you not see the end of the movie? :smugfavre:

and

Robin seen him once and made the connection..... Gordon knew wayne for years and still wass :krs: BRUCE!?!?!?! :krs:

:what: what is wrong with you? I saw the ending. I'm beginning to wonder if you payed attention. Part of the movie's story line is both of them moving on from their lives. That is what tied then together and made them similar. She stole from him because she had no choice, it was a means of survival, she could not go back into the real world. She had a criminal record. Which is why she needed a "clean slate"? Bruce gives her the clean slate when he returns from the pit. In return, she helps him save Gotham, she even was surprised that he trust her to do her part considering what she did to Bruce and the batman. Remember, she did not know Bruce Wayne and batman was the same person until Bane was like "Mista Wayne" right before the first fight, which was the last time she saw him. When the mission to save the city is complete, both have their personal closure and are able to move on. Ain't nothing wrong with Bruce smashing it after that. The make up sex was probably off the hook, too :manny:
