They only showed a zoom-in of the timer on the bomb, they never showed batman next to it

When Bats was catching them licks, chicks I was sitting next to had to look away. You could hear the audible gasps, specially when Bane dented the mask :ohhh:

On a side note, that Superman trailer had the audience going bananas.

Had a nicca like "Thats my super hero :to:"

Word, I think there were more people clapping for the superman trailer than at the end of the movie :smugfavre:

Just got back......IMAX >

This a more than worthy successor to The Dark Knight, and in many ways I think it's a better film.

First, it's a significantly better edited and shot film...particularly from an action perspective. I have long found Nolan's direction of action to be far too chaotic, choppy and tightly framed...like he never really trusts the shots to stand on their own. Thankfully, he pulled the camera back and let the actors do the work. The two one-on-one fight scenes with Bane/Batman were fantastic

Tom Hardy was great as Bane. I'm not going to waste time comparing him to Ledger because that's unfair to Hardy. He had NO CHANCE to do what Ledger did just based on the character limitations. I was highly skeptical of Anne Hathaway as Catwoman coming into the movie, but she was actually pretty great. Her performance and the way the handled the character was nearly flawless, though predictable.

Those two characters were also very well written. Unfortunately no one else in the film really was. I think every attempt at wit or snark fell completely flat and often bordered on corny.

Bane - "So you've come back to die with your city"
Batman - "No, I've come back to stop you"

:wtf:

It was an epic film, but it had some significant flaws as well. Foremost was the fukking SOUND. The soundtrack itself was pretty forgettable...other than the fact that it was obnoxiously loud, distracting and overbearing. There were scenes were the score was drowning out lines of dialog completely. I thought the score-free first fight scene between Bane/Batman was great though.

And :dead: @ how the Batcycle was able to take out the tumblers like they were minivans....that was ludicrous. Never mind that Selina apparently mastered a one-of-a-kind machine in about 30 seconds. That entire final chase scene was pretty damn stupid. And how did Batman get the bomb 6-miles away in less than a minute? :russ: shyt wasn't moving that fast

Those are just my immediate thoughts....need to digest it longer to dig deeper :manny:

Just saw got back from seeing it again except this time in IMAX. That's basically the only way to see this. If you're not, you pouring jelly on ya self for real. A lot of the dialogue came across muffled but the IMAX experience was way clearer but it was still some dialogue that was hard to hear. Bane had that Arn Anderson,1980s walking to the ring walk swag. There's no satisfying muthafukkas when it comes to this flick. Peeps were actually walking out peeved that Poison Ivy wasn't in the flick and shyt. Geeks like that apis why I wait for most movies to come out on DVD or d/l it

This is pretty much how I feel. I'd like to add that:

1. Jason Gordon Levitt was also put in a great performance. Solid, great work.

2. My biggest problem with the movie was that Ra's Al Ghul gave exposotory dialogue as a hallucination :wtf::why:

3. I hate how Bane died!

They could have just had a prisoner give that info and still kept the Liam cameo.

No I'm saying the director who did both movies used a simular ending techniques in both movies where the movie ends on a sequence that leaves questions.

He alive breh, Fox ask who finger prints fixed the autopilot...the answer 'Bruce Wayne'

The Movie cheated to keep him alive, yes but...

He's Batman :win:

off first impression, not as good TDK, about even with Batman Begins

definitely the most epic and entertaining of the trilogy but also had the worst script. a lot of the plot holes were :snoop: especially when you compare it to how tight and well-thought out the plot for Batman Begins was. I actually feel the same way about Return of the King which this movie reminded me a lot of

I think Nolan was so focused on creating the most epic movie possible that he got pretty sloppy with the script. it's probably the most well-directed movie Nolan has made but also the worst-written

Acting was great across the board. This was Bale's best performance in the series, Anne Hathaway did her thing, and Hardy killed it. a lot of people are hating on his voice but I thought it was dope how this huge, brolic looking monster spoke in such a refined and calm way, dope contrast. plus that beat down he laid on Bats was epic. and those scenes with Alfred (esp. telling him the truth about Rachel) was probably the best acting done in the series besides Heath Ledger.

only weak link acting wise was the girl who played Marion/Talia. plus I think the story was at its weakest when it revolved around her. it was a cool twist at the end but it felt forced. I think Bane did more than enough on his own to handle the villain role and I don't like how he just ended up being her heartbroken bodyguard at the end. Nolan tried to make Bane sympathetic when I think it would've been more effective if he was just an evil muthaphucka the whole time

I have mixed feelings about the ending. I don't have a problem with where Nolan went with it but I feel like it could've been executed better. having Blake as Robin was too forced. also I was cool with Batman faking his own death but the scene could've been edited way better to at least make it more apparent that he escaped in time

if it seems like I'm nitpicking its only because I hold Nolan to a higher standard based on his resume. overall, like I said, this was the most entertaining of the trilogy and I'll def see it again. but it wasn't the best

also, how the fuck did Bruce get back to Gotham? :wtf: its crazy to me how Nolan could be so obsessed with explaining and showing how everything worked in the first two films yet in this one he doesn't even bother to explain how Bruce managed to make it back from wherever he was to Gotham when the whole city was cut off....
