Not it wasn't. I think yall looking at Bane's physique too much and not realizing that he was a smart muthafukka. He wanted to break everyone in the movie's spirit who weren't on his side.
Bane assumed that batman would never come back and he had a nuke that was going to explode whether he pulled the trigger or not. Them nikkas drove the bomb around the city so the civilians could see that it wasn't no games, they were going to die, so do what you have to do as people before that time comes. he made them believe that revolting against the government would save them. He gave everyone false hope. The nikka was sinister.
Damn it made $80 mil nationally and $120 mil worldwide in 24 hours?

After Bane threw Bruce over the catwalk you couldnt hear a thing in my theater. When he cracked his mask with those punches it was a bunch of "oh my god, no" in the room. You don't see superhero's get this abused in movies.
When he picked him up in the air...everyone knew what was coming and it was a collective "NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!" that lead to
Nolan not using any music during that scene made it even more chilling. All you heard were Bane's punches/kicks and Batman screams/howls

Dude's suit can with stand explosions and bullets but can't stop a knife............Lucius you got some splaining to do
Actually if you go back to one of the previous films (pretty sure it was TDK) bats got the new suit and fox said he could get got at close range with a knife (correct me if im wrong)

The seperation between what's fake and what's real
just got back....nice finish to the trilogy...Didnt pickup for me until Bane had the Gotham takeover tho...have to see it again dont know if it was better than TDK tho
This wasn't about the country, it was about gotham. They were going to fulfill what Ras wanted to do in the first film, did you not hear Talia mention this to Bruce?
At the same time Bane wanted to fukk with Bruce. The only thing Bruce cared about was protecting the people of Gotham. Bane took that away from him and forced him to suffer and watch it while stuck in a prison with his back broken.
You can blame it on ego and assuming Bats wouldn't recover for the plan not going through. But up to that point, everything was going according to plan.

When Bats was catching them licks, chicks I was sitting next to had to look away. You could hear the audible gasps, specially when Bane dented the mask
