near classic to me... fukk yall.
nikkas forget that Bruce wasn't batman for 8 years. He lost most of his skill, including the detective work and prep time. Not to mention how desperate he was in trying to prove he could still be batman without putting much thought behind it, he got sloppy. Then he got his ass beat n thrown in jail for months. nikka didn't have the resources or the time to formulate a more intricate way of stopping bane, the nuke was getting ready to blow and he was trying to get his body in shape, time wasn't on his side to go all out.
You nikkas gotta start using common sense instead of wanting every detail to be spelled out for you. Smh
The last 15 mins still give me goosebumps
i just watched this due to the blu ray rip too.
man banes voice fukking sucked. that's the main thing i remember from this movie... his fukking wack ass voice!
that speech on the stairs of the jail was like nails on a chalkboard. "give it back to youuuuuuuuu, the people. gotham will endure" *faggy hand and head gestures*
Definitely the worst of the trilogy. My main problem with this was it was just too boring for most of the movie. There were some plot holes. Also some really convenient things happen. The letter that Gordon just happens to have on him that Bane finds. Nolan couldn't figure out a better way for Bane to find out? Gordon could die at any moment from the wackest street thug ever and all his secrets would be gone. Why carry it around? And then everyone just believes it's true. Bad guy reads it aloud and everyone just accepts that this guy is telling the truth. Weird shyt. Handled too sloppily.
I liked Catwoman. She was the best new character. There were so many plots and layers to the movie that she wasn't really explored too much it felt like. @ Batman just forgetting that she was the cause of him being beaten within an inch of his life from Bane.
Bane was ok. His voice kinda sucked. Fight scenes were very weak. The back breaking scene didn't have any impact whatsoever. Should've been shot better. And had an epic feel to it, that made it seem like Batman was sooooo fukked that his ass was 100% done. Instead he lands in a jail next to doctors with those Mr. Miyagi hands.
Why didn't Batman use his super detective/planning mind to come up with an easy way to defeat Bane that 2nd time? He did the exact same shyt but luckily fukked up Bane's mask.
I thought Gordon was dead after he crashed to the ground in the back of that truck. haha
This was ok at best. No great moments at all to me. The Dark Knight had a number of them. Far from wack but expectations were high after the first two movies.

Bane's voice was great. It was creepy and kinda funny at the same time. Some of his lines and the way he read them in that voice had me
I also liked the first Bane/Batman fight. It was brutal breh, no music or anything, just a beatdown
Agree with the coming back and just beating Bane by punching his mask though. Like wouldnt that be obvious the first time?

I'll explain why this movie was trash.
Firstly, Bruce Wayne was Batman was at most a year to a year and a half before he retires for 8 yrs. If this isn't a slap in the face to the character of Bruce Wayne/Batman I don't know what is.
Not only does TDKR trample on Batman's character but it undermines everything set up from Batman Begins and TDK.
At the end of TDK, it's established that Batman will take the responsibility for Harvey's death and those who Harvey killed. They give a whole dialogue b/w Batman and Gordan stating that the police will hunt him from this point forward. That Batman needed to take that responsibility on and play the bad guy b/c that's what Gotham needed. But in the beginning of TDKR none of that happens, why b/c Bruce has decided to stay home and give up his holy mission. To add insult to injury, he's given it up b/c Rachel died.
In Batman Begins and TDK, Alfred not only promises to never give up on Bruce but also tells Bruce that he needs to endure as Batman. In this one, he completely betrays everything he stood for, going as far to leave Bruce. Not to mention Bruce letting his "father" for all intensive purposes leave b/c of a dead girl who didn't even want him anymore.
Another thing, TDK explains why no one else can be Batman besides Bruce. His training wasn't everything that made him Batman. It was the anger he felt as a kid from losing his parents, which drived his entire core. To prevent ppl from suffering what he suffered. He believes this entirely, which is why he doesn't allow for the fake Batmen to go around trying to help him. More importantly, Harvey(Gotham's White Knight) couldn't pull off saving the city as Bruce hoped. Harvey failed. So why the f*ck would Bruce entrust the Batman mantle to some rookie cop b/c he said that he could tell who he was from 1 look. Bruce knew what it took to become Batman and it wasn't simply being an orphan kid with a simple moral compass.
Last but not least. He was able to beat Bane because he found fear again? Are you kidding me, and the way he found and overcame this fear is by making a jump that a 10 yr old child was able to make? Give me a break.
one thing I've noticed about this film is that it's probably the first time I've ever seen Batman, whether in an animated series or film outside in the DAY TIME.....
I dont know how I should feel about that
Still enjoyed the film tho
Don't even stress the fighting scenes, they are one of the most garbage shyt I have ever seen.
Batman just straight goes and starts to fight bane, with only using one thing from his utility belt. I swear nolan's batman doesn't even seem to have any intelligence .
