I've never seen the Godfather Trilogy.... I just haven't had time to sit down and watch them... I have a HUGE movie list with Classics and Obscure movies.... I have my entire life to view them...

Life can end sooner than planned, friend...better watch godfather 1 and 2 asap, those movies are too classic not get a chance to see. :rip:

I just saw it again today. I still love it just as much in the second viewing. I admit "The Dark Knight" is still my favorite out of the Nolan Films, but this was still great.

Though I wouldn't call it an all out conclusion. It felt more like the end of the beginning. Bruce is still alive, and now he has a Robin.

Start with godfather 1 and 2...it will ease your soul and u will be happy to die after seeing that masterpiece...its one movie that deserves every bit of hype it ever got. Ray can wait, shawshank after godfathers. Now run along, times a wasting........

Nolan needs to say fukk it and make at least one more.

Movie was entertaining but far from the masterpiece you guys made it out to be. In the future, please tone down your reactions so you don't set people up to be disappointed.

:birdman:

And Bane's death was the most anti-climactic death in movie history. Half the audience missed it by blinking.

Nitpick No.1 - Introduction of too many new characters, each of whom could have gotten/deserved their own movie. Same Issue I had with Spider-man 3.

Nitpick No.2 - Bane beating Batman without the use of strength-enhancing venom. I understand Batman had been out of the game and was lacking in his usual skill. Same thing with the comic book when Bane beat Bats. Bats was exhausted from recapturing villains for 3 straight months and Bane took advantage of that...WITH THE VENOM THO. No way Bane beats Bats without the venom in the comic...so why in the movie?

Nitpick No.3 - So Batman get back into occupied Gotham? And without Bane's people noticing it too!? :shaq2:

Nitpick No. 4 - So wait...lemme get this straight. Bane wants to fulfill Ras Al Ghul's destiny by destroying Gotham? Aint he the same dude who kicked Bane out of the league of shadows? Naaaaaah that don't make any sense, someone's gotta be pulling his strings. Knew it was Miranda Tate as soon as Bane stole the nuclear powered reactor that she was so eager to see.

Overall...the movie gets a B+ rating from me.
2) Bane is just stronger, faster, and is numb to pain. Bruce was inactive for 8 years and his body was pretty dinged up.

3)Just like in BB, people didn't recognize him when he was dressed like a average person and with a full beard. Plus what were the chances of Bruce making it out of the prison?

4)Ra's saved Bane's life by rescuing him, and for that he felt he owed Ra's. Bane is a loyal dude

I like the unexpectedness of it.

Yeah
Low expectations... Nolan failed to deliver, movie is your average cliche big budget summer movie.

Stop making it out to be anything more.

If this is it for Nolan and the Batman movies, I can't wait til they release a boxset with a ton of features. I wanna watch all 3 in one day and soak in the greatness.
