Sure he may be working on new things, but putting them to use vs Salka shows nothing. Glorified sparring. If Danny is putting some new wrinkles to his skill set then show us vs a quality opponent. It is easy to show off skills vs crap opponents. Show how those skills make you better against someone you need them against.

this fight vs a bum lightweight was made because his soul was damn near taken vs herrera, he needed to bully a undersized lightweight to feel good
and also ggg vs adama wasnt shown on hbo, they didnt waste our time with it unlike showtime/haymon
also chavez sr fought over 5 times a year so again this doesnt relate, garcia wont even fight again this year so thats 2 fights in one year where he lost then beat up a bum

Errything I seen is the same shyt they been saying...its up to Al, they can go up or then can stay, Lamont can get it next...
They keep saying next fight is end of 2014 OR early 2015 prolly depends on Sho budget...either way that's 3 fights in under 12 months for this day N age that's active

Agree to disagree on bum status. I don't think a bum is a bum. There are still levels to it. Pac vs Algieri is uninteresting from a PPV standpoint, but Algieri has some legitimate good wins and although by beating Prov doesn't jump himself into some legitimate contender status, but he has proven he is a decent fighter.It was glorified sparring nobody has said otherwise

The bigger issue is that there are a TON of fighters Pacquiao should be fighting...they just are all at Showtime.
And GGG vs Adama to me is the definition of a tune-up. He is in your weight class, has proven to be a durable and semi-decent competitor, and was ranked in the top 20 at MW. Not a great fight or anything that defines your resume. But at least your are getting work vs. a guy who has had a career and isn't a lower quality of fighter than someone you would spar with.

That wasn't his real name though. He was sponsored by 3K Battery and used their company name as his ring last name. He fought almost exclusively in Thailand and was the Champion over there.
And he was a better fighter than Rod Salka as well, even fought for the legit super bantamweight title once or twice....something Salka won't do at 135 or 140.
I remember watching that fight on YouTube and Manny destroyed him with that uppercut he threw
