Oh now Paulie's word is gospel huh? :sas1:

So I guess he was right when he said the judges were watching the wrong fight in regards to Danny vs. Herrera :sas2:

Judging fights people have their bias...Paulie always favors the boxer

N I've stated plenty of times I have no problem 7-5 either way or draw for the Herrera fight...my main issue was the Matthysse stans N their Stevie wonder 10-2 scorecards

So now thats clear would you like to speak on what boxing expert Paulie Malinaggi said post fight??:youngsabo:

Tonight was as bad as we thought it would be.

Jacobs looked incredibly average. I like Jacobs and want him and Quillin to square off. Jacobs had a great first round and it was obvious Fletcher had nothing for him. Then we see Jacobs slack off for 2-3 rounds after nearly getting the fight stopped in the first. :what: Finally got active again and put Fletcher away.
I always have wanted to see more of Jacobs, just need to see him versus better opponents. Glad to see him call out Quillin, maybe we will settle who is Showtime's best guy at 160. But he better quiet that GGG talk. GGG would have had him gone in less than 5 based on how Jacobs looked.

A fight where a guy lands clean power punches at will should be exciting. Somehow, Peterson's fight was a snoozefest. Santana had nothing other than being terrific at absorbing punches. Fight couldn't have ended soon enough.

Broner. :mjlol: Dude has become a parody of what he wants to be. I wonder if he realizes that you can't even watch him without laughing. His talkative mouth gets pretty quiet when it comes to mentioning any opponents that are a threat. And Danny Garcia has him :merchant:.

Danny should be flat out embarrassed he took part in that fight. Played out exactly like a 140 lb champ versus and bad fighter a weight class below would be expected. Horrible. Maybe even worse is people actually thinking anything can be learned from this fight. Danny looked great! :pachaha:Didn't look so great vs Herrera and he had no reason not to be in peak performance for that. But somehow, he really got things perfected vs Salka. :russ:

Man why is De La Hoya still wearing his pants that high post carreer? There's no punching below the belt in real life.

Nobody is saying wow he killed Salka hell yea p4p champ

What we saying is Swift worked on new things...Danny was working off the jab a lot more, set traps, N the right hand left hook cuz according to him people are goin to box him more N working on those things will make things easier for him

Its pretty easy to see the difference in how he looked

Like Paulie said unfortunately not enough people understand boxing N will say oh its cuz it was against rod salka

I enjoyed the fight for the simple fact bigot boxing fans all over the internet were :to: at the fact Danny Garcia melted white dude like he was :deadmanny:, and reading all the tweets from other low budget wanna be boxing sites on twitter :damn: about Al Haymon. Meanwhile, Al Haymon was somewhere like :win:, It's all good when Eastern Eurpoean fighters are :dead: Cherry picks, now watch how I do :myman:

Peterson: Fans and Media Want Me vs. Danny Garcia

Barclays Center, Brooklyn - In the co-feature bout, Lamont Peterson (33-2-1, 17 KOs) retained his IBF Junior Welterweight World Championship with a dominating tenth-round technical knockout victory over Edgar Santana (29-5, 20 KOs).

Peterson, of Washington, D.C., controlled the fight from the outset, lighting up New York native Santana with left hooks and shots to the body. Peterson was highly accurate, landing 53 percent of his power punches and 48 percent of his total punches.

The champion diversified his attack in later rounds, with Santana enduring consistent punishment. With 11 seconds left in the tenth, referee Pete Santiago had seen enough and awarded Peterson the technical knockout.

“I was able to show a lot of dimensions of my game,” said 30-year-old Peterson. “I was boxing well. I fought on the inside well. I actually think I should have gotten him out of there sooner but I give myself an okay grade.

"I think it was [round] four or five. I hurt him. I didn't finish him. I don't know why I didn't but I knew I hurt him –and it was over– it was just a matter of time. I just had to get the right spot, push on the gas and go forward.”

On a potential fight with Danny Garcia…“This is the fight all the fans and the media want. I'm willing to do it. Again, I'm going to say this: 'I'm willing to do it.' Hopefully it gets done...It makes more sense to do it at 140 but if it has to happen at 147 I have no problem.”

On his feelings during his brother's fight…"He [Anthony] did me a favor tonight...I had to fight but that's my brother. I was a little nervous when he was in there. Good thing is he got him out of there in the first round so I didn't have to worry about him for too long.”

“He came in with a good game plan. He’s tougher than I expected. His style frustrated me,” said Santana.
