We gave up up more for Cooper than we traded him away for. He’s still a top wr in the league. That jsut mean the cowboys(Dak) killed his value. He’s not Tyreek but he’s in Adams level. Adams jsut had the luxury. If having a qb whose capable of actually spamming him the ball let alone getting it to him.
If Coop played with Rodgers, he’d have 1200 yards and 10 tds. Amari had 11 tds this season. Dak missed him wide open on at least 5 tds.

I don’t never want the Cowboys to trade another FRP for a wr while Dak is here. It’s jsut a waste. We need to trade Lamb next offseason becaue if we have to pay him Market value for a number wr, that would be dumb because. Number 1 wr don’t provide the same value in Dallas that they do on other contenders. You can blame it on scheme, qb, or culture but those are the cold hard facts.

Amari is a top 3 route runner in the league. He would put up those same numbers Davante did if he played with a capable passer and offense. Y’all forget he put up a great year in a season where he played with 4 different QBs.I like coop but he not on devantes level

Cmon man, you should be able to get a 3rd for him. Other teams obviously respected him enough to give him a lot of bracket coverage. And 20M is not that bad for a 28-year-old #1 receiver. The problem is this FO was dogging its asset for a month prior. Like @lightskin jermaine said we didn't hear anything about the Hill trade until TODAY! If KC leaked negative things about Hill for a month and leaked they were going to possibly cut him then his value would not have been what it was in today's trade. This FO is fugazi.

Ehh. Dude missed multiple games last season. His stats would look different if he hadn't got put in the covid protocol. His target dropped mid-season but alot of those were going to lamb who is essentially a #1 receiver as well. Point is, someone production was bound to take a hit with the amount of weapons on the team last year. Davante Adams has never got to play with a wide reciving core like we had last year. Give Rodgers Lamb, Gallup, Wilson and I bet Adam's drops too. If you want a clear illustration of this, look at what happened to Mike Evan's production once TB brought in/developed more weapons. He went from getting 175, 147, 139 targets in seasons to just 114 last year. Happens when you have mouths to feed.
