Lol, so now we're a toxic fanbase? This guy was babied for 7 years in Dallas. I’m not just talking about by the FO but the fanbase too. A majority of the fanbase put him on a pedestal that he did not earn. Countless excuses were made for him. We didn’t see his true potential until this past season when it was time to get paid. Even then he still faded towards the end of the season. Ugly baby is an ugly person.

I find it ironic that Jerry was the main owner pushing for the changes in the CBA revoking weed drug testing in the offseason. He did it because he was tired of seeing Gregory on the sidelines. Two years later after the new rules are implemented, Gregory bolts for a weed-friendly state. I think this was his intention all along once the new rules were in place. All this contract drama is just him wanting to play the victim on the way out.
