The criticism for the game awards are laughable

I mean there are other video game award shows so why does this matter? People are acting like this is the only one in existence. If you don’t like the way they do things don’t watch and give your viewership to a different show.

So people can't comment on something being whack because there are alternatives.

You could not watch TGA for awards at all, and still feel like the awards section was bad.

Over 6 million people watched The Game Awards just on the official YouTube Channel. The DICE Awards you have to go to IGN's channel for the most watched stream and it wasn't even 50K.

What I'm saying is there are award shows right now that hold their show and it's cut and dry people announce awards and the devs get on stage and make a speech and that's it. Nobody really cares. Nobody really watches.

The reason TGA got to be so successful is because it's a giant commercial where the awards take a backseat to advertising and promotion. So yeah Gizmo Duck is absolutely right the criticism is laughable. If they played it straight nobody would even be talking about it.

For all the praise BG3 was getting, it's kinda surprising to see at least one of the bigger champions of it be so blase about them not even being able to properly honor their dead coworker and appreciate their 6 year journey.

nikka, literally none of the quoted posts in the OP are upset about it being an ad. None of the tweets responding to Geoff were upset about it being an ad. All nikkas were asking is to give them more than 30 secs and not to cut them off mid speech with loud ass music and a big ass sign.

The IGN article isn't even upset about it being ad.

It's you two being fukking obtuse about what people are saying; nikkas tune in for the premiers and trailers of course, but that doesn't detract from EVERYONE noticing how sudden speeches were cut.
