Yup, let's compare something that has risen the last 10 years to something that happened nearly 30 years ago for a longer period and we are seeing the effects today.
I wouldn't be surprised if an athletics drop in football and boxing happens in Mexico 10-15 years from now.
In saying that, guns are not the only reason for the fall of the American boxer.
Blah blah blah. I got you.

What you said made no sense. During crack's heyday, there were plenty of black boxers. it's coming home to roost years later.
Niqqas don't fight no mo.....
There will never be a drought in boxing in Mexico.
slap boxing =/= fightingI also find it funny that the OP is equating fighting in the street to the sweet science.

lol, yall brought up somethin tho. I graduated in 2004 and there was no such thing as bullying campaigns, now you got that shyt everywhere. Who's to say this crop ain't just soft and more sheltered than the eras prior to internet access and social media?
Plus how many potential fighters are locked up in prison now? IIRC there are about 20+ million African American men in prison right now.
Didn't read the thread but I'm pretty sure it's already been said basketball and football are the reason nikkas are not boxing not crack
Just look at how much the popularity and pay has increased over the last 20 years and it's easy to see why nikkas ain't boxing no more
You can be average and make millions per year in those 2 sports.can you say the same for a average boxer?
Great athletes weren't always the ones leaning towards boxing.
Dudes who could scrap were the ones mostly pulled into it.
Ok I just went back and read the OP and you at 100% wrong on this
Are you really trying to say people fought more back in the late 80s/early 90s then now?
