Great athletes weren't always the ones leaning towards boxing.

Dudes who could scrap were the ones mostly pulled into it.

Those dudes was pulled into it cause somebody saw the potential to make money off them

Nowadays people know it's way more money to be made in other sports so nobody cares about boxing

Do you think the garden variety thug like Mike Tyson had aspirations to do anything else? Mark Breland? Bernard Hopkins?

We're not talking about dudes that are potential athletes. These were hardened niqqas that were known for their hands before stepping in the ring.

They put you in jail and kick you out of school for fighting nowadays. It ain't like the good ole days. The FBI trying to put brothas away.

A few years? Its happening now, and has been happening the last decade or so. Ive been making posts about this for the longest but something is up with American athletes in terms of development.

Its a mix of things with poor coaching, not a big enough pool of talent, crime, etc. America has hit their peak athletically and something has to change.


As for the slap boxing theory, I can accept it. I do feel there is more to it as well, but guns have lead to the end of a lot of potential athletes.

I wouldn't say that. These kids have far better coaching and play AAU like crazy. We just played street ball a lot till HS.

And I honestly don't think sports are being taught correctly anymore on top of the dwindling athletic pool. Maybe it never was and foreign coaches teach a lot of these sports better?

This is the question. A select few get drawed out. What that leave the non-naturally gifted. They have talent too, they just don't know what it's in yet. This system is top heavy system with no end in sight. Basically the destruction of one's community.
