They are strong in every market and won back the U.S. with the asskicking they put on Microsoft the past 2-3 months.
Another example of the back and forth:

Are you trying to do a @Rekkapryde impersonation with lies supported by a sketchy site?
http://www.gamespot.com/news/xbox-360-us-july-sales-reach-107000-units-6413069
Xbox 360 107,000 sales for July.
Sony wont even post their sales.
You still furious Xbox in last place ha?
I know you reading this Court!!! :ufurious: you can't respond!!!
you really don't get itYeah I do. It made more business sense for them to try to sell in other markets first. If they thought Japan would/could carry them to success as in previous generations they would have launched there first, as in previous generations.
Their decision to not launch in their own country alludes the non importance of Japan.

I'm disappointed in this forum. You guys REALLY don't know why? Rekka, someone please enlighten these catsInstead of making multiple posts saying someone doesnt get it, why not try to validate and back up your stance?
You were just talking about how important and relevant Japan was, yet when he hit you with that "if theyre so important, why is Sony not even launching in their home country?" you have no response accept we don't know business
the question should be do you know?

think in terms of business, why would Sony allocate most of their inventory to the U.S. instead of Japan?
this is a VERY simple answer

nah, try againBecause Japan is a very shaky market right now. They could probably sell their entire inventory in the U.S. alone.
Big budget console gaming is dying in Japan
so that's not the reason? LMFAO you guys are in flat out denialHe wants people to say its because they have no competition in Japan.
But that line of thinking is misguided as hell, just like the rest of the crap Sony stans spew.
Sony has never faced competition from Microsoft in Japan yet they have always launched there first. Their biggest competitor in Japan has been on the market for a year, if Japan was so important Sony would be launching there to compete with Nintendo.
so that's not the reason? LMFAO you guys are in flat out denial
because Nintendo was still a big threat in the console business. So why did they launch first in Japan in previous gens?
