I use a Final Draft. Never used a free one, but people who do tend to talk more about Celtx
Apparently Final Draft has a free version according to the video. Idk how limited the free version is. I think Celtx has a free and paid version as well like Final Draft.
Have you always only used Final Draft because it's industry standard? You use the paid version?
I live in the south in the east coast. Is Atlanta our only choice or can scripts be sold online to Hollywood?

Every area has connects, so if Atlanta is the closest, then choose Atlanta over LA. If NY is closer, try and connect with people in NY etc. I've never heard about scripts being sold online. Maybe its happened but I've never heard of it.
And with FD, I use it because it is the standard, but from what I can see the scripts that come from the free programs look pretty much the same in terms of format so if you prefer those then use those.

Free version is fine. Free I think you can save up to 3 scripts, premium is unlimited
I think The Silence is a great movie to know on what not to do. Even though some of the actors were awful, this shyt is so bad.

idk if this channel's been posted here yet, but FilmCourage on youtube is full of interviews with writers that basically teach you everything you would in Film School about screenwriting and a lot of the movie making process.
