Yeah maybe but it's not wrestling fans who would hinder him, it would be Vince and triple H....no way would they book a UFC Tomato can as a world champion...and I don't blame them....Who would want a guy who got destroyed twice in real fights as the face of your company especially when you already have two former dominant/established ufc champs on the roster

Yeah but wasn't that the case before all this? Part of the reason Punk left is he wasn't who they - especially Trips - wanted. He wouldn't have been face of the company regardless.

but at least then it wasn't proven he was a tomato can...he still looked like a credible champion just not a prototypical 80's steroid user but he was fine and i'm certain could have had a Michaels like career as a guy who put on good matches and on occasion could hold the belt...maybe even swap out with DB and Cena like Austin Rock era

but now there is no way he can be looked at as a credible wwe champ unfortunately...and yeah a good chunk of the roster would suffer the same fate but I think many would look at lot more respectable

I don’t understand why people are taking shots at the wwe roster. I guarantee more than 50% of the roster would do better than CM Punk. Especially if they got the same years to train and were fed a fighter like Mike Jackson.

People don’t realize that damn near 80% of the roster are in better shape and better athletes than Punk and younger as well.

I honestly don’t think Punk did anything remarkable. He was given a shot at a UFC PPV match while making a Mill. Who wouldn’t take that deal. It’s not like he paid his dues and came up in the amateur scene and fought for 5k on a random UFC show.

Imagine Benjamin getting trained at 36 and doing a UFC novice...Benjamin probably chokes him out in record time..that's what Shelton does, he excels in athletics with ease because he is a genetic beast.
