Dana gave Punk another shot because his first match against Gall popped the buyrate for that PPV huge.

Worth giving him another carny fight, hoping that happens again. Punk's done now though. 3+ years of training and he gets washed by a 0-1 part-time journalist. Not even Dana can keep the charade going.

What happened to Chick Magnet Punk last night would happen to 99.5% of the WWE roster. And the .5 it wouldn't happen to are Brock, Lashley and a freak athlete with a limited martial arts background like Shelton.

The avg. wrestling fan won't care that Punk got whooped twice in a real fight. Kayfabe don't exist anymore. This is the social media/Total Divas era. Disbelief doesn't even have to be suspended anymore. Those who like wrestling will watch regardless.

And if UFC gives Chick Magnet another fight...it'll be against Floyd...and it'll be huge.....and Punk has a chance b/c Floyd has 0 wrestling/grappling.

If Punk can't get Floyd down, though :damn:.

To be fair that journalist had pro fight experience and was a golden gloves winner

Punk would have been better fighting another untrained celebrity

Anybody remember he challenged Chris Brown to a fight lmao...i think Brown would wash him too

I legit feel terrible for Punk his career has become a Shakespearean tragedy...I commend him for trying but Damn he should have called this whole thing off before Mickey Gall and went to NJPW instead to stay face ...he legit could have been the biggest guy in wrestling post Cena era

If a boxing bum like Jackson connected with ease what would Floyd do to him lol

never really understood the following Punk had..then again i thought the Yes! shyt was annoying.
never saw the fuss anytime i saw him in the wrestling...the Royal Rumble were he had the mic in the ring was entertaining enough.

i can only give u him being a massive failure in ufc. he excelled in wrestling to the point fans will never stop chanting his name and begging him to return. in the process became rich enough to retire in his mid 30's w/ a wife a lot of dudes lust over.

Coming from one of the biggest punk marks out there, his “legacy” took a major hit last night. Pretty much a notorious loser at this point. He should live off his riches and wither away.

I wouldn’t even want him back in wrestling, how do you sell a career loser who bit the only hand that ever fed him.

On his lack of interest in pro wrestling: "Subconsciously, there’s like a disconnect. I see clips. I know Kenny Omega is the hot guy. He’s probably one of the better guys in the world right now, but it’s the same thing. I’ll watch clips of matches, I don’t see myself watching a full match. I just can’t do it… I think it’s definitely too glossy, but it’s been like that for a long time. My jam was house shows before they started calling them live events, where it was a curtain and a ring and a light above the ring. That was my jam. That was my world, that was where I liked to thrive."

:_cmpunk:

they might have been his jam...... doesn't necessarily make him a jam up guy though
