On his lack of interest in pro wrestling: "Subconsciously, there’s like a disconnect. I see clips. I know Kenny Omega is the hot guy. He’s probably one of the better guys in the world right now, but it’s the same thing. I’ll watch clips of matches, I don’t see myself watching a full match. I just can’t do it… I think it’s definitely too glossy, but it’s been like that for a long time. My jam was house shows before they started calling them live events, where it was a curtain and a ring and a light above the ring. That was my jam. That was my world, that was where I liked to thrive."

I'm not a CM Punk hater, but I do got a question for the brehs. Can he ever be taken seriously again if he did return to pro wrestling? Sure he'd still be over af but tough talk would just go out the window.

CM Punk is already a made man with the pro wrestling audience. If he came to WWE as a new star like Ronda after being a bad fighter, then sure

Lol@all these excuses..all this crying. Hahaha....all of a sudden the validity of wrestling is to be challenged because these nyggas fell in love with a 2011 promo that failed only a summer later. His whole reign isnt even legit because he was supposed to lose to Bryan in the first place. So he's just a extension...his own admission.

"You think you failed in pro wrestling?"- Colt Cabana
"Yes. Yes I failed"-CM Punk

Just because he didnt get a fake main event. A true mark:laugh:...just like his goofy fanbase.

Props to punk for chasing his dreams...I'm sure he's more satisified with his life than the majority of WWE talent and its abused housewife fans who force themselves to watch this trash every week.

CM Punk didn’t live or chase his “dream.” He was gifted a highly paid opportunity that hundreds if not thousands of vastly more talented mixed martial artists were far, far more deserving of.

I mean he was bizarrely out of his element and for a guy with three and a half years training that was a remarkable bad showing in 2 fights over that course

That said, I do not get why people hate him so much and are all in their feelings within the industry, especially when it looks like he had legitimacy with his issues and the business treated him

I do wonder though, I know he says hes unplugged from Wrestling but I wonder if anyone has told him about what Cody Rhodes and Chris Jericho have been able to do which frankly is the revolution in the industry he wanted. I get he hates wrestling but man, him joining that NJPW/ROH thing would be the next galvanisation for that thing to grow as it is (or maybe not? It could go Bret Hart in WCW t*ts up) but man those guys, NXT, the rise od indies all the things he was known for, that was the revolution he wanted but they did it and he didnt and I guess its just timing. I wish someone had leaned into his ear about that back in 2014 and he could have done what Cody did
